Sometimes it's good to be reminded that the creator of the universe cares enough about me to speak to me, to encourage me, to lead me, and to tell me that I was worth the sacrafice that He made upon the cross. This devotional goes right along with what the Lord has been speaking to me- that He desires to be my companion, my friend. To walk alongside me even in the most difficult times and that I can lean on Him in those moments and that He is steadfast. There is a song we used to sing alot at St.G's when I was a kid... "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness, oh Lord, great is Thy faithfulness." This song has been on my heart for several days, I wake up singing it and it resounds clearly. He wants to remind me, and I believe all of us that He is steadfast in His love and that He will never cease in faithfulness and relationship with us! Thank you for the encouragement in the midst of my chaotic and tumultious time of life. :) In Love, Stacey Drye

Great encouragement! I am reminded of I Kings 19 which says God did not speak in the windstorm or in the earthquake or the fire ... but in a gentle and soft whisper.
