Sunday School (Infants–6th grade)
A winning combination of dedicated teachers who love children and Bible lessons that help kids get excited about knowing God – that's what St. Giles Sunday School is all about!
Time: 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Sundays
Children's Church (Kindergarten - 5th grade)
Besides Sunday School, children get to learn more about God and how to grow in their personal relationships with Him through a new innovative program called KidMo. The children and their leaders remain in the Sanctuary during the worship time and then go to the gym for their meeting.
Time approximately: 11:00am - 12:15 p.m. Sundays
Sunday Night King's Kids (4 yrs. old–6th grade)
The focus of our Sunday Night program is helping children really get to know the King! A typical night includes worship, a Bible lesson, a game, snacks and small group time where kids can share and pray together. It's a special place for kids to grow.
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Sundays (Meets during the school year.)
Wednesday Night (4 yrs.–6th grade)
Come and join us for a fun craft, centered around an exciting Bible story! This midweek meeting place for kids keeps them looking forward to learning about Jesus all during the week.
Time: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays
Dance Ministry for Girls (1st–6th grade)
Girls practice and learn how to worship the Lord in dance.
Nursery Ministry
Our nurseries are designed to be a safe and loving environment where children learn Jesus loves them and church is an exciting and fun place to be.
- Sunday Morning Worship Service (Infants–5 yrs.) Caring volunteers staff our nurseries on Sunday mornings giving children the opportunity to spend time with church members of a variety of ages and life experiences.
- Sunday & Wednesday Evening (Infants–3 yrs.) Paid sitters provide childcare in the Administration Building so parents might enjoy the services knowing their children are in a fun and safe setting.
- New "Parent Seeker Paging System." A new system has been installed for parents of infants and toddlers. As you bring your children into the nursery you will be provided with a pager which will vibrate if you are needed in the nursery.
Special Events
Lots of fun and exciting events are planned for families and children throughout the year. Here are a few:
- June – Vacation Bible School: Kids enter the gym which has been transformed to fit the VBS theme. It's always a fun, exciting week with the focus on Jesus!
- October – Fall Festival: Families from the church and neighborhood come together for a fun evening of games, fellowship and of course, food!
- December – Christmas Program: Children participate each year with songs, dance or plays.
